And Deadpool has Cyclops' eyes? and he has retractable Katana's in his hands? This isn't Marvel 615, let me tell you that much. Oh yeah, and Wolverine and Sabretooth are brothers. You guys knew that???

WHY CAN'T THE X-UNIVERSE BE DONE PROPERLY??? I think we need to take a lesson from Batman and just do a do-over.

09:18 am - March of the Saint
Today, I will become married. I am happy that this day finally has arrived. For the longest time, I was doubting this day would come, but it has. Now, I am kinda in the state of wanting it to finish, just because of all the little nuance's, rules, and stuff. (eg. Stand here for 2 minutes, then face this way, then go here, etc)

Right now, I am trying to figure out this video camera, so I can show someone else how to make this video camera work. We'll see how that turns out.

04:21 pm - Get Crucified
Grinds My Gears
Well, if anyone is curious I have two pet peeves. One is slow drivers that go 15+ miles under the speed limit, and just go along with it like its ok. I hate you, and I hope someone slams hard into the back of your vehical. Typically its someone over 65, which is why I whole heartedly believe you need to re-take your drivers test then.

Second is a one that a few of you on my friends list like to do consistently. I hate it when I make plans with someone, only to have them not show, and more importantly, and more annoyingly, not tell me about it until like after the event should happen, or worse yet, not at all.

Now these people fall under two classes:
1. The ones who make plans and then break them late, or never let you know
2. Ones that make plans or borrow stuff, and then drop off the face of the earth.

1. Happens to me from just about every friend I have. And it really ticks me off when they do, but because its so many people, I deal. It's disrespectful to me, but I'll deal.

2. These guys I seriously question as friends. I really want to be, but from what they did by disrespecting me and my property, I find it really hard. You guys know who you are.

Basically, as I've said many times before, if you don't think you can make it, just tell me before I waste my day waiting for you. I could be getting a lot more stuff done (and I have plenty that I typically put off because of this issue).

Secondly, don't "drop off the face of the world". That's the icing of pissing me off. If I'm expecting you and I call to see what's up, don't "hit ignore on your phone", don't "refuse to reply to voicemails, or answering machines", don't "ignore my IM's", don't "ignore my emails", and do not "ignore my myspace and livejournal posts". I won't be angry if you have a legitimate excuse, but avoiding me, will piss me off.

There, I am done with my rant!

And just because I believed that I have reached out to two of these individuals thoroughly, I'm naming two of the people who fit in the number 2 spot (the ones who borrow stuff, and then drop off the face of the world). [info]kudos2incubus (Lee) and [info]cmgriffin28 (Carson)

08:35 pm - It's the Baracalypse!
So America finally elected a black president and a liberal house and senate to boot. Well America, you got what you asked for: Socialism. Hope you like super high unemployment and low wages to those who are lucky enough to keep their jobs. BTW, watch the stocks drop now. No invested likes high capital gains taxes. And no businesses like getting less money because of no investers or from higher taxes. "oh, that's only the rich, that doesn't effect me." If the businesses have even less money than now, do you honestly think they will open their wallets and relenquish their highering freezes?

Good job America. Rot in hell. I just want to see how you will blame it on the "evil" republicans.

12:35 pm - Socialism hits UK. Privacy has been totally eliminated.
Hey guys, still want socialism???

Get this. The Communications Data Bill just got put into action in UK. It is the creation of a single, centralized database containing records of all e-mails sent, websites visited and mobile phones used by UK citizens. In a carnivore-on-steroids programme, as all vestiges of communication privacy are stripped away.

I understand that they are using the guise of "we are doing it to stop crime", but when the government begins to become big brother, that kind of power is absolute, and we know what that means.

Not to say our Patriot Act is any better. That was also a pretty socialist move. But you can't blame that one on Pres Bush, even though I know every liberal on CNN and MSNBC will still try to do so.

06:07 am - Socialism vs Fascism
What I am suprised with is that so many Americans are so happy to go to a socialized system of government, health care, business, and education. ARE YOU GUYS ALL HIGH???

Socialism: a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole, usually by the localised federal government.

What I've noticed in the trends of Socialism is that it tends to take all my freedoms away, telling me where I am to live, what jobs I have to have, and making a rift between middle-class and upper-class so large that the middle-class becomes the poor-class. It end up in a miserable place. I don't trust a government, so why would I want them telling me what job I have to work at, where I have to live, and what doctor I have to go to? What happened to choices?

Any presidential canidate that makes a statement that he will make the government force one of these areas (jobs, health, banks, landownership, etc) to do something is spouting socialism. If you have to force jobs to stay in America to keep them in America then that means there is another problem entirely and all you are doing is putting a band-aid on it. Fix the real problem, and you don't have to FORCE anything. Forcing is what you do when you don't have enough intelligence, or you are too lazy to figure out the correct answer. It sounds like something a frustrated 5 year old says when he tries to fix a problem but lacks the knowledge and experience to do so.

The other part about it that sucks is this whole "lowest common denominator" shit. I have a little pride in my country, and I'd hate to compare it with our lowest common denominators, cause I've seen how low some of us can go. I'd like to believe we can elevate them upwards, but a lot don't want to and won't. Why? Cause there is no reward to elevate. That sounds like the problem to me. But, we can take the frustrated 5-year old approach and say, "I'll FORCE you to contribute to your society. Here, have some money, and spend it so that you will contribute and stimulate the economy." Do they? A few do. Most don't. You cannot force everyone to do the right thing. It has never worked that way. The real problem that needs to be solved is WHY are they like that.

Now we have two major presidential canidates out there. Both of which have very liberal backgrounds. Yes, that's right McCain is pretty liberal, especially as far as the republican party is concerned. Have you looked at this guy's voting history? He's voted for the democrats over 60% of the time in his career, and in the last 4 years, over 80%. The only thing that makes him republican is his views on war, and the fact he put an ' - R' next to his name.

With that being said, one of these canidates has been spouting a lot of stuff at their respective convention and on some debates that are outright socialist. I hate socialism with a passion, so I'll vote for the other canidate, just to make sure it has less chance of a future. I'm not going to say which canidate is which, cause I'm certain smart people can see it, and those not as bright will fight it tooth and nail as to admitting who it is. All I can say is, a lot of people are cheering for a man who is claiming a government system that takes all your freedoms away.

on a side note. I am at Martinsville for a week to support a race for work. Should be back on Monday.

08:30 am - Fire Within
Well, time for some updates:

For a while now, I've been getting into Black Metal and Pagan Philosophy. Really been taking it to heart. Musically, my style has been shifting to less technical and more atmospheric. I cannot escape my technicality in the stuff I do, but I no longer focus on it. I have a project called Lifecutter that exemplifies this. I am performing all the instruments on this project, except for vocals, although I am primarily writing the lyrics. [info]cmgriffin28 is looking more and more as the vocalist for this project. I am also considering [info]kudos2incubus as a session bassist or drummer for this, just in case I may want to try to play live with this once and a while.

Things with Kayla are running smoothly for the most part. We are prepairing for our wedding. Well, she has been doing the majority of the work, as I do not, nor do I claim to know what I am doing. I am helping out with some resources, as I have ISC/NASCAR connections. I am getting one of NASCAR's photographers to do the wedding as well as having ISC's print room make the invitations. I just need to learn how to dance. I have rhythm when playing music, but dancing to it? No rhythm here. All whitey!

Work is starting to calm down a little. I have two more tracks to travel to for the rest of the year. However, due to the current economy and our company's inability to change with it, our raises at the end of the year are going to suck.

I am also still working on getting my PC into the music room so that it can be directly connected to mixing board. I will really like having a studio in my house to do whatever music projects I'd like to do. I will be having Lee and Carson over today to work on my Lifecutter project and to see if we can try recording anything. Sharkteeth could even give it a whirl, recording a demo or something. I admit that I use a lot of drum programming on my music, using drumkits from hell, as I have no way to properly mic my drumkit, but I am thinking more an more about it, and I might start buying mics for my kit.

That's about all for now. Laterz

05:00 am - In Death, Is Death
Two people I noticed have passed. One recently, and one not quite as recent.
R.I.P.

Charlton Heston - Actor, Former President of the NRA
1923-2008 (April 5)

and

Ernest Gary Gygax - Creator of D&D
1938-2008 (March 4)

I guess that it really was from his cold dead hands as it looks like with our upcoming election, we have a load of politicians hellbent on taking our second ammendment rights away.

As of Gary, even as a level 20 D&D player he needed to take more feats of "Extend Life" so that he would not have met his untimely doom. I kinda feel bad about this.
